This #thaiconstellation no longer fits in my living room. It only grows 3 to 4 leaves a year (well it was previously only 1-2 leaves until I switched fertilizers), but those leaves are moving towards 3 feet each!

This is my variegated PHILODENDRON HOPE that I acquired in 2021. The first leaf that grew under my care was all green, as well as every leaf after, for the past two years (will post a pic of when i first got it). I thought for sure it had reverted and lost all its color. I thought my variegated hope was long gone. I still continued to nuture it by giving it a lot of light and fed it (@gt_growth_technology_au foliage focus of course 😉) with every watering. And whaddayakno…Low and behold something changed inside and its color is back. So….
all this to say that each new leaf is another chance to turn it all around. Never give up and always have HOPE ❤️

Wow!!!! What a wild week at my first #TPIE show representing my GT Family
Started off a little rocky. I packed up the booth (along with my kid’s clothes) to fit in 3 suitcases and a carry. We rushed to the airport only to find that the flight was delayed and ended up on a 4 hour red eye that got in Tuesday morning. Went straight from the airport in a rented mini van to the hotel to drop everything off and then straight to the convention center to set up the booth. The loading dock was jam packed with 2+ hour wait in line. Decided to park across the street and workout the quads walking the suitcases up the loading ramp.
I was feeling overwhelmed walking into the Tampa Convention Center as we were greeted by what appeared to be a construction site filled with massive cranes, gigantic shipping crates, and pallets overflowing with displays, plants and more plants.
It took the entire day to set up a seemingly simple booth (in comparison to the elaborate set up of other exhibitors).
I was excited for what the days ahead would bring. Woke up early to finish setting up and witnessed the crowd pouring in as soon as the doors opened. I did not sit or stop talking until the lights turned off. This went on for 3 days straight. The energy was electric. Saw so many cool plants (to add to my wishlist), met with lot of great companies and connected with a lot of passionate, generous and inspiring people in this beautiful community. Looking forward to TPIE 2024!!!
PS interesting fact… Tampa has a lot of chickens and roosters roaming the streets and roosting up in the trees

So I took his credit card to buy it.

#variegatedphilodendronmelanochrysum surprisingly easy to grow and did not suffer much from transportation. The newest leaf (on the left) is promising, showcasing a range of color from pink, burnt sienna, cream, lime green and green. The most interesting part is, is unlike a #variegatedmonsteradeliciosa , there is absolutely no color variation on the stem of a #variegatedmelanochrysum
